I wanted to experiment with different types of materials to create my body paint and prosthetic animals, there is always a easier and more effective route in developing an idea, hence to experimentation part within a project. For these pieces I didn’t mind much if they weren’t a great piece of work as this was for test purposes only to see what materials work better with my idea.
I decided to experiment with liquid latex, as this is an effective and cheaper alternative to silicone.
I also experimented with body paints to see the different effects different types of paint do to the skin
As well as this i also played about with fullers earth to create a texture effect on the skin.
